Smarter Balance Assessment Testing (April 19th – May 20th)
We will be testing for the Smarter Balance Assessment From April 19 to May 20th.
HELPFUL HINTS TO PREPARE OUR STUDENTS:
- Plenty of rest. 8 hours is the best for our brains to function properly.
- In class on time. Arriving late disrupts other students who are testing.
- Eat a good breakfast. (Feed the Brain!)
- Give your student encouragement. Say things like:
- Try your best.
- Show what you are capable of.
- I believe in you.
- Nobody is perfect, and that is ok. Do your best.
- You can learn from your mistakes.
- Your perseverance will help you succeed.
- You can do it.
- Testing is for the student. Encouragement is for the Parents and Teachers. This is a group effort and we need to support each other. So, give your student all the praise they deserve.
