Dear Taholah School Family,
It is both an honor and a pleasure to have been selected to serve as the Superintendent of the Taholah School District. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with and learn from the community, as well as to cultivate relationships with each of you. As I embark on my twenty-fifth year in education, I reflect on my journey thus far. It all began as a second-grade teacher in Delton, Michigan, and later led me to Spring, Texas, just outside of Houston, where I taught sixth-grade English language arts. Over the years, I have also held the role of Assistant Principal in both elementary and high school settings. Most recently, I had the privilege of serving as the Superintendent of the Delton Kellogg School District.
My wife, Marsha, and I are proud parents of three children: Antonio, Arianna, and Herman III. I place great value on being an accessible and engaged member of the community, and I am excited to work with the community of the Taholah School District as we embark on this journey together. Our shared mission and vision will serve as our focus guiding the daily efforts as we strive to provide our students with the highest quality education, paving the way for their success in their chosen career paths.
I am committed to fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, and excellence. Please know that my door is always open, and I welcome your input, questions, and concerns. Your dedication and hard work are integral to the success of our students, and I look forward to working alongside each of you to achieve our collective goals.
